Premium Egyptian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
We are a small family farm producing premium extra virgin olive oil using traditional methods.
Our philosophy is simple: When it comes to oil, we don't believe you should have to choose between quality and affordability.
Our Farm
Our farm is a 170 feddan oasis of green in the desert just west of the Nile Delta, 60km north of Cairo (off the Cairo-Alex Road). It's been in the family for 45 years and produces asparagus, dates and, of course, olives and olive oil.
Our Values
There are more important things in life, to be sure, but as far as pleasures go, it doesn't get much better than sharing with family and friends a warm loaf of good bread with some delicious olive oil.
Leonardo da Vinci said that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. We agree. Out with the fancy bottles of over-priced, mass-produced blandness on the supermarket shelf! Our oil comes straight from the farm, fresh and tangy, simple and affordable.
Namir EVOO
We named our oil Namir (نمير), a word meaning 'pure' in Arabic. It's made from a carefully balanced blend of cultivars including Picual, Manzanilla, and Koroneiki (the 'king' of olives).

Asparagus
Available sporadically throughout the year but mainly during the winter months, drop us a line via the contact us page or below if you are interested in purchasing high-quality fresh asparagus.
Dates
We mainly produce two varieties of dates. The barhi (البرحي) variety are crunchy and sweet and available from late August. The megdoul (المجدول) variety are soft and dark (pictured) and available from October, but we only produce a tonne or so of these and they sell out quickly. Contact us if you are interested, best to pre-order if so.
Saplings
We have loads of trees on the farm and have plenty of shoots and saplings that we are hapy to sell on demand.
